Big Brother Spoilers: House On Lockdown Over Fan Yelling About Nicole Franzel, But Will It Impact The Game?
Warning! The following contains spoilers from the Big Brother All-Stars' live feeds as recent as Monday, August 24. Read at your own risk!
The Big Brother fandom is passionate, and occasionally, has been known to take things a bit too far. Year after year, we hear instances of fans doing something to try and influence the game, so I guess it should be no surprise that someone tried that during Big Brother All-Stars. Houseguests were placed on lockdown Sunday night when a fan was heard yelling over the studio lot wall about something that involved Nicole Franzel.
As far as what was said, that's a bit more of a gray area. Live feeders could not hear exactly what was said during the moment, though the general consensus is that it involved Nicole Franzel. One popular theory so far is that it was a disgruntled fan wanting to vent and that they said "Fuck Nicole, get her out." Another point of speculation is that some claim the person said "Nicole and Cody Final 2," in an effort to derail the two's current partnership.
The truth is we have no idea what was said exactly, but we do know that Janelle Pierzina and others in the house heard it. Here's a clip of Bayleigh Dayton trying to secretly share the news with Da'Vonne Rogers, perhaps to prevent production from hearing her talk about the incident where fans could hear:
The general consensus around the house is that whatever was said, Janelle Pierzina liked it and Cody Calafiore was a little uneasy about it. There are many valid reasons either of these two would react like that, especially when Nicole Franzel is involved. What was said really isn't all that important in the grand scheme of things of course, unless it changes the vibe of the house and forces Cody to cut ties with Nicole.
So far, it looks like that isn't going to happen. Cody Calafiore had the Power of Veto, and as Tyler Crispen wanted, he did not use it. That means Janelle Pierzina and Kaysar Ridha are still nominated for eviction, and one of them will go home on Thursday. Not an entirely surprising result, especially given Cody and Tyler has nothing to gain keeping these two players in the game.
Regardless of their personal feelings on Nicole Franzel, she's part of the majority alliance. Janelle Pierzina and Kaysar Ridha are veteran players outside the alliance and a solid pair that needed to be split up. Most everyone in the house agrees on that, even if they aren't in the majority alliance, so I can't imagine any outside interference will shake up the plan for the current week of the house.

Whether it will impact things going forward is another story, as Cody Calafiore being seen as uneasy could make the house paranoid he has something to hide. Nicole Anthony proved in Big Brother All-Stars that paranoia can be the greatest enemy of any player. Cody may feel like the outside yeller hurt his gameplay and then do something wild in the coming week to try and compensate for that. Or the house could just move on like it's no big deal, which is exactly what happened last year when a guy used a bullhorn to expose Christie Murphy's outside the house connection to Tommy Bracco.
