90 Day Fiance's Big Ed May Be Filming Again For Upcoming Season
When Big Ed Brown made his debut on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, he might have come across as another slightly odd run-of-the-mill subject on the show looking for love. Now, as B90 Strikes Back airs on TLC, it’s obvious he’s one of the franchise’s biggest stars to date and an internet sensation thanks to the misadventures in his romance with Rosemary Vega. Ed didn’t find love with his last girlfriend, but does that mean his time on the TLC series is done?
It’s not entirely clear at the moment, but it is worth noting that Big Ed has been spotted out in public with camera crews and another young woman. Check out the video posted to @90dayfiancenews, in which the two seem to be enjoying a nice dinner in San Diego, California.
Who is this mystery woman, and what is she doing eating dinner with Big Ed Brown in front of cameras? Ed has posted some photos of this event on his own social media, but has shared no further details about what’s happening and whether or not it involves 90 Day Fiancé. What is known is that TLC is looking at creating even more spinoffs, and it's easy to imagine that Big Ed could be involved in any upcoming projects with the franchise. This could be for something like that, though also something entirely unrelated.
The big question is that if TLC is filming something, will Big Ed Brown be looking for love and going the international route again after the crazy fallout with Rose Vega? Hopping immediately back in the 90 Day Fiancé saddle hasn't helped Darcey Silva and Colt Johnson get any closer to finding love; should Big Ed expect similar results?
Speaking of Darcey Silva, I wouldn't be surprised if TLC is following Big Ed Brown for some sort of Darcey and Stacey-esque standalone spinoff. Ed's roles in B90 Strikes Back and Pillow Talk have shown he has some staying power outside of a quest for love, though romance is often at the heart of these spinoffs. Perhaps a spinoff would just be Ed living his life and traveling America, all whilst putting mayonnaise in his hair.
Darcey Silva paid her dues as a bit player in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise before getting that standalone spinoff, so it would be weird to me for Big Ed Brown to get his own show so soon. This could be filming for Happily Ever After?, Before The 90 Days, or even the flagship show if he is secretly engaged. We can only wait with bated (and hopefully not offensive) breath and hope that Big Ed Brown can be entertaining enough to maintain the mega fame (and criticism) he received in his inaugural season.
