David Harbour And Lily Allen Totally Had An Elvis Impersonator At Their Vegas Wedding, And There Are Photos
The past week has been a joyous whirlwind for Stranger Things and Black Widow star David Harbour and singer-songwriter Lily Allen, as the couple revealed they tied the knot in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony. Considering Harbour has long been rocking the kind of swagger that Elvis Presley oozed during his decades in the limelight, it shouldn't be too surprising to learn that he and Allen enlisted an Elvis impersonator to officiate their fun and fancy-free wedding.
Thankfully, that wonderful premise doesn't merely exist in anecdotal form, and there is absolutely photographic evidence of David Harbour and Lily Allen being lovey-dovey in the same vicinity as the Matrimonial King of Rock 'n' Roll. While Harbour wasn't rocking any blue suede shoes during the life event, check out his Instagram post below, which makes me nostalgic for my own Las Vegas wedding.
David Harbour and Lily Allen shared their vows at Las Vegas' Graceland Wedding Chapel, and if you're going to Graceland in any capacity, you have to have Elvis involved. And if Elvis is involved, even if it's just an impersonator, then you also want to have a bunch of tasty hamburgers, french fries and milk shakes on hand. Hilariously enough, Harbour and Allen's post-wedding buffet consisted of a big order from In-N-Out for the couple to share with the two daughters from Allen's previous marriage to Sam Cooper, Marnie Rose and Ethel.
Tons of awesome celebs commented on David Harbour's post, from Twin Peaks' Kyle MacLachlan to The Good Doctor's Daniel Dae Kim to Back to the Future vet Lea Thompson, and many more. And you can bet that some of the actor's Stranger Things cohorts also got in on the commenting fun. Here are a couple of reactions from Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown and the Netflix series' official Instagram page.
Of course, David Harbour wasn't the only one who wanted to celebrate the big day on social media. Lily Allen also shared a shot of the wedding day, with the Elvis impersonator apparently in mid-song.
Despite the fact that the couple never officially went public in saying that they were engaged, fans inferred that was the situation from Lily Allen donning a ring as of late. Many were thinking a more simple announcement was coming soon, but the fact that Allen and Harbour went the whole nine yards and got married was pretty shocking for everyone. The couple only obtained their marriage license in Las Vegas on September 6, according to People, so it doesn't appear as if this Vegas wedding plan was in the works for all that long.
Fans are waiting to see David Harbour get back into Hopper mode for Stranger Things Season 4, which will hopefully be heading back into production in the near future. (Not to mention everyone waiting to see where Black Widow ends up for its theatrical run.) While waiting to hear more, head to our 2020 Fall TV premiere schedule to see what else is on the way.
