90 Day Fiance Just Lost A Major Happily Ever After Star
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has been one of the major shows in the franchise to watch this season, thanks to some big storylines from folks who have been with the show for a long time. Now, ahead of the first Season 5 tell-all, it's been confirmed that one of the major participants of this season will not be returning to the franchise. TLC has officially cut ties with Larissa Dos Santos, and the news comes from the reality personality herself.
Not long after it was revealed that Larissa had been detained by ICE and is reportedly back on the road to being deported from the United States, the star revealed she was fired by TLC. Check out her statement on Instagram below, and read on for more details in this shocking story:
Larissa Dos Santos revealed the reason for her release was related to a live show she did on the site CamSoda where she rubbed oil on herself while wearing a bikini. The event was advertised to show off the results of her recent plastic surgery and took place Monday, September 14. According to the timeline given by Larissa, she was fired by TLC on Friday, September 18th and then arrested by ICE the following day at boyfriend Eric Nichols' home.
The full details of Larissa's arrest by ICE aren't known, but one has to wonder what role they play in this whole situation. Larissa Dos Santos is not the first 90 Day Fiancé star to perform risque content on the internet and, really, more and more folks who have been on the show have rolled that into successful runs on sites like OnlyFans. Some of those folks have equally explicit content on their platforms, so it seems weird Larissa's show (which reportedly featured no nudity) was the sole reason for this firing:
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 5 had featured Larissa Dos Santos and boyfriend Eric Nichols a decent amount, and there was even some speculation the couple was moving and would be a part of an upcoming spinoff in the franchise. To hear she was removed for behavior that is emulated by so many on the show is surprising, or perhaps a warning message to others involved with the show. If TLC is putting its foot down on cast members making racy social media accounts, I would expect to see other cast members dropping their accounts or potentially leaving the show very soon.
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? airs on TLC Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for more on the season, and for the latest happening in television and movie news.
