90 Day Fiance's Deavan Clegg Shared New Evidence To Back Up Abuse Allegations Against Jihoon
Warning! The following contains spoilers for the return of Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Read at your own risk!
Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee's relationship took a real downturn in 2020, to the point that the couple couldn't even pretend they were still together ahead of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way's return. The supposed details of the couple's split have slowly rolled out thanks to both being on social media quite frequently, though it's worth mentioning the two have conflicting accounts about the end of their relationship.
In fact, just a week after Jihoon Lee "cleared the air" about allegations that he physically abused Deavan's daughter Drascilla, Deavan has come back with some receipts. The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star did an interview with All About The Tea about all her recent drama, and stated that the story Jihoon shared with fans about an incident with Drascilla at school is not the incident that led to her fleeing South Korea with her children.
Deavan then shared a picture of Drascilla's head following the incident, which appeared to show that a sizable chunk of hair from the side of her head was missing. Deavan didn't share explicit details of what led to the incident in the interview, but a recent unverified story on the internet claimed that Drascilla got up to get something to drink and that Jihoon was upset she had left her bedroom. Deavan didn't confirm or deny whether the rumored story is accurate, though she notably did state in her account that the event took place at 3 a.m.
In addition to the photo of Drascilla's hair, Deavan Clegg went on to say she secretly recorded video footage of the whole fight with Jihoon Lee but did not share footage of the incident. Deavan has stated on social media that her reasoning for withholding evidence is that she hopes to find justice for her daughter, though it's unclear what (if any) charges can be brought against her estranged ex-husband in the United States or South Korea.
Obviously, there are two sides to every story, and it's possible fans of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way may never know the whole truth about what happened in the two's relationship. It has been confirmed that the couple were not invited to participate in the show's tell-all special, perhaps due to the messiness of their breakup. With that said Deavan alleged that TLC offered to give her an advance on her pay for the show to pay for a ticket out of South Korea, but said it was conditional on allowing camera crews out to document her leaving. Deavan did not say if TLC documented her leaving Korea.
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way returns to TLC Sunday, October 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for all the latest happening in the franchise, and for more news in the world of movies and television.
