Kim Kardashian Reveals Why Kendall And Kylie Jenner's Shocking Fight Happened On KUWTK
Spoilers ahead for the October 7 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians on E.
Not a week goes by on Keeping Up With the Kardashians without some kind of drama involving the various Kardashians and Jenners of the family, but the shocking fight between Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner during a family trip to Palm Springs may go down in KUWTK history for how it escalated. Although the fight -- which got physical -- happened off-camera, it was still part of the episode, and Kim Kardashian explained why.
The fight between Kylie and Kendall Jenner was brewing all night long on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but few might have expected the sisters to get violent with each other. The big family reunion ironically happened because Kris Jenner saw the footage of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian's physical fight from the previous season, and Kim had already revealed that their mom had a strong reaction to their fight. That didn't stop Kylie and Kendall from getting into it with each other, though!
The mess started when Kylie Jenner borrowed an outfit from Kourtney Kardashian that Kendall had planned on wearing, and the clothing clash was the beginning of the end of a peaceful family night. Later, Kendall chose to nap in the car rather than join her sisters, mom, and Corey Gamble at a drag show. Afterward, Kendall and Kylie got into a car with Corey, with Kendall wanting Kylie to drop her off at home. Kylie didn't want to, and things escalated from there.
Although the fight was mostly conveyed via high-pitched insults over the phone while Kim, Kourtney, and Khloê Kardashian were in another car with Kris Jenner, it became clear that it got ugly, and Kendall wound up abandoned at a gas station for Kim and Co. to pick her up. Hysterical, Kendall shared the gist of what happened, which allegedly involved slapping and Kylie putting her heel into Kendall's neck.
Kim Kardashian took to Twitter to explain why the fight made it onto the episode of KUWTK but didn't happen on camera, saying:
Next week's episode promises to dive into the aftermath of the fight, but thanks to Kylie and Kendall Jenner still having their mics on and the car cameras still rolling, KUWTK was able to include the audio of the fight as well as show the hysterical Kendall after she was picked up from the gas station, shaken up and full of details about the fight, albeit from her perspective.

While this was one of the worse fights between the various Kardashian/Jenner sisters, Kim Kardashian's social media comments indicate that it wasn't necessarily apocalyptic. She shared that Kylie and Kendall Jenner "would fight like this as kids all the time," and the fight over the ride "really took me back". Kim also posted:
See what happens in the aftermath of Kylie and Kendall Jenner's physical fight with the next new episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, airing on Thursday, October 15 at 8 p.m. ET on E! The extended Kardashian family managed to keep filming despite the COVID-19 pandemic, which must be good news for fans in light of the news of the show's upcoming end.
