Big Brother Spoilers: Who Won The HOH, And What It Means For Week 10
Warning! The following contains spoilers from Big Brother All-Stars live feeds as of Friday, October 9. Read at your own risk!
Big Brother All-Stars is down to its Final 5, which means there are only a few more evictions until votes are in and a winner is crowned! Needless to say, this Head of Household was a huge one to get, and will likely decide which players will comprise the Final 3 in the finale.
With Tyler Crispen out the door, It was Memphis Garrett, Enzo Palumbo, Christmas Abbott, and Nicole Franzel competing for Head of Household. Here's who won, who they have their sights set on, and what this may mean for the rest of the game after this week.
Nicole Franzel Won The HOH
In what feels like a major (non-controversial) moment, Nicole Franzel won her first competition in Big Brother All-Stars. To say that the news is a shock given her past comp performances is an understatement, especially given the skills needed to win the dreaded balance game. It's a comp that requires a ton of balance, patience, and some luck, which apparently the rest of the competitors didn't have.
To be honest, I along with many others did not expect Nicole Franzel to clutch out an HOH win. Her performance this season has been lackluster, to say the least. Even when Nicole was trying to win, she often came up short. Now she's in control of the house, and whether she knows it or not, is a major decider in how the rest of this game will go.
How Will Nicole Franzel Run Her HOH?
Right now Nicole Franzel has one goal only: protecting her Final 2 buddy Cody Calafiore. He was ineligible to play for HOH this week, and it was looking like had literally anyone else won, he and Nicole would've been on the block. Of course, that didn't happen, and now with Nicole finally in control, she's going to do the thing Cody has been asking her to do all week up to this moment.
Nicole is going to nominate Christmas Abbott and Memphis Garrett. I assume Christmas will be stated as the target, but that's mostly because Enzo and Cody will be fully in control of who stays or goes with their votes. Christmas being the target means they can offer Memphis some measure of reassurance that the two plan on keeping the "Wise Guy" they made a Final 3 with.

That way, if Memphis Garrett does come off the block after the veto, Enzo would have the votes to stay as a replacement nominee. There's no way Nicole Franzel will risk Cody Calafiore as a pawn, and I would say that Enzo is far more valuable to Cody and Memphis than Christmas Abbott. Bad news for Christmas, especially considering this will likely mark her second consecutive week up for eviction.
If the nominations stay the same and Christmas Abbott and Memphis Garrett remain up for eviction, I find it hard to believe Cody Calafiore and Enzo Palumbo won't take a shot. Christmas is unpredictable. Taking out Memphis during Nicole's Head of Household keeps blood off their hands but also removes a major competitor from the game. It's hard to imagine Cody won't take the shot at the only person left that stands a chance of beating him in a vote with the jury, so Memphis better hope he gets that veto.
