As 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way returns to television, the situation between Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee is just as sticky as ever. Viewers will tune in to see the couple still struggling in South Korea, despite the fact both have confirmed they've split in the months the world was dealing with COVID-19. In fact, Deavan has moved on and is with a new man, and it turns out he's ready to step out from the shadows and answer some questions.
Topher Park recently did an Instagram Live Q&A with Deavan Clegg and clarified some of the details the tabloids may have gotten wrong about his life. Topher, who actually goes by "Chris," as audiences learned, had Deavan alongside him to bring up a misconception about his career that was widely reported when they first started dating:
Chris has not acted in over five years. So, all those articles saying he’s an actor...it was five years ago for school projects.
Topher Park is not an actor, despite the fact he has an IMDB page and a few credits to his name. Topher (or do I call him Chris now) said he isn't an actor, and Deavan Clegg later added that he's an accountant for a company in Beverly Hils. It's the type of stable career one would think Deavan appreciates, especially given her complaints with estranged husband Jihoon Lee's career choices.
Topher Park's blatant appearance and participation in a Q&A is pretty surprising, though his presence on Deavan Clegg's social media has been slowly ramping up. Prior to that, the couple had been cagey about the status of their relationship, with even Deavan's mother, Elicia Clegg, publicly denying rumors there were issues between the couple. The dam more or less broke open when Jihoon Lee confirmed the two of them split, and it's really escalated in recent weeks with lots of allegations being thrown back and forth.
Deavan Clegg has claimed that Jihoon Lee wants nothing to do with their infant song, Taeyang, and that he physically abused her daughter, Drascilla. Jihoon has denied all of those claims and has publicly asked how she was able to move on so quickly in the time since they've split. Deavan's relationship with Topher Park began not long after the news was confirmed of their split, but it's not clear at this time how long the two have known each other. Deavan did say on the live stream the two met through a mutual friend, so this may be where their whole love story began. It also may be where it ends for 90 Day Fiancé fans, as Deavan has confirmed she and Jihoon were not invited to participate in the Season 2 tell-all special.
