Election Day 2020: What Anchors Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, And More Are Using And Their Coverage Plans
At long last, we're in the final stretch of the 2020 Presidential election and all we can do now is cast our votes (if not already) and watch the madness unfold on what should be an unprecedented Election Night. And while we essentially have two choices when picking who will lead the United States of America the next four years, there are plenty of options when it comes to coverage of the momentous occasion. With all three of the major 24-hour news channels — Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC — as well as broadcast networks providing coverage all day Tuesday, November 3 (and more likely than not, November 4), there's something for everyone.
But with so many options and different start times for Election Day coverage, keeping it all together is no easy task. Luckily, we've compiled a list of how each of the major television news networks plans on covering the 2020 Presidential election. There's not much time so let's get to it…
CNN
Just as in previous elections, CNN will be providing hours of coverage throughout Election Day. Here's what the Cable News Network has planned for Tuesday (fingers crossed they bring back those holograms from 2008).
CNN's Election Day 2020 Coverage
CNN's Election Night in America coverage is set to get underway at 4 p.m. EST on Tuesday, November 3 with teams of anchors, reporters, commentators, and other experts breaking down the results in real time from various locations across the country. And since there is no telling when the final results will be ready in this election, the Cable News Network will have multiple teams bringing coverage into the early morning hours on November 4.
CNN's Election Night Anchors
CNN has announced that Dana Bash, Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper, Abby Phillip, and Jake Tapper will kick off Election Night in America from the CNN Election Center in Washington, while Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon will be leading the late-night coverage as the results continue to come in.

Philip grew up in Louisiana (not New Orleans) before moving to St. Louis after graduating from Louisiana State University-Shreveport. When he's not writing about movies or television, Philip can be found being chased by his three kids, telling his dogs to stop barking at the mailman, or chatting about professional wrestling to his wife. Writing gigs with school newspapers, multiple daily newspapers, and other varied job experiences led him to this point where he actually gets to write about movies, shows, wrestling, and documentaries (which is a huge win in his eyes). If the stars properly align, he will talk about For Love Of The Game being the best baseball movie of all time.
