Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons Is Blonde Now, And Fans Can't Get Over How Hot He Looks
It's only been a year and a half since The Big Bang Theory wrapped up its twelve-season run on CBS, but Jim Parsons has already put in the work to completely distance himself from the role of Sheldon Cooper. Perhaps the biggest example would be the way Parsons' sleazy AF role in Netflix's Hollywood could not have been more different from his Big Bang wholesomeness. But now fans are seeing the actor in a new light yet again after it was revealed that he is rocking longer hair now, and that he dyed it blonde.
Check out Jim Parsons' grateful Instagram post below concerning his cover for the magazine L'Officiel.
Some of Jim Parsons' friends and former co-stars chimed in on that post with compliments aplenty, including Big Bang Theory's Wil Wheaton and The Boys in the Band's Matt Bomer.
Beyond celebrity reactions, though, there was much Jim Parsons thirst to be found on the Internet, even if not everyone understood the feelings that they were feeling. Some opted for simple declarations of positivity:
While others celebrated the actor's new blonde locks by asking the most important questions that one can ask during election week (which is the same sentiment that many, many fans on Twitter were mulling over):
Speaking of the never-ending election, there were several fans that took comfort in Jim Parsons' new look as counter-programming to all things political.
The shock of seeing Jim Parsons back to rocking blonde hair was too much for some people, with several Sheldon Cooper GIFs being utilized as reactions, such as the one below.

While going into hyperventilation over Jim Parsons' looks is one route to take, the fan below went the whole nine yards and died of appreciation.
Of course, for all the gung ho love that Jim Parsons earned for becoming a blonde hottie, there were more than a few people who acknowledged the change but still didn't fully understand what was happening. Such as the user below, as well as a bunch of women who apparently weren't aware that Parsons is both gay and already married.
And in the words of Big Bang Theory's Kunal Nayyar himself:
To be sure, Jim Parsons still isn't completely separated from his Big Bang Theory role, thanks to CBS' ongoing dramedy Young Sheldon, which recently kicked off Season 4. In fact, the latest episode even brought in Parsons' former co-star Mayim Bialik for a big flash-forward reveal, so be sure to check that out if you haven't already.
While The Big Bang Theory can currently be streamed in its entirety on HBO Max, fans can catch Jim Parsons in The Boys in the Band streaming on Netflix.
