No Big Deal, Just Kylie Jenner Bathing In A Tub Of Rose Petals
Whether or not you are a huge fan of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, they sure know how to make a splash. Earlier this year Kylie Jenner got people to vote thanks to a candid bikini shot and now she’s using an artsy bathtub photo to convince people to buy her skincare products. Can’t blame a girl for working hard.
In the latest post, Kylie Jenner sports some silky lingerie while indulging in a bath of rose petals. That’s a luxury a lot of us may not choose to spend our money on, but with Jenner’s billionairess status, she’s got money to burn. And it does make for quite pretty and old school Hollywood glam imagery alongside her skincare products.
The Kardashians are known for glamour shots, often taken alongside luxury items. It was just the other day that Kylie Jenner took a photo whilst surrounded by Louis Vuitton bags, for example. Even while shamelessly hawking products, the Kardashians tend to look flawless. This is, in fact, a really stunning look at Kylie Jenner and I’m glad she shared it, even if she’s simply trying to sell me something.
Jenner has often been clear that she's a self-made woman, noting that none of her money has been "inherited" and all of it has been earned. Though not everything is about making money. More recently, Kylie Jenner used her platform to inspire voter registrations with a well-timed bikini pic on Instagram. The image went viral and apparently led to thousands of voter registrations and when I say thousands I mean, like 48,000 voters registered coming from her post. Social media is certainly a tool the Kardashians use a lot and with good reason.
The rose bath post has been viewed by 3.7 million people at the time of this writing, which is not too shabby when it comes to selling a product. Kylie Jenner’s previous post, a teasy set of selfies taken in a bra, was seen by 10.5 million people. Another Halloween post from 2020 was viewed almost 40 million times.
This season, the Kardashians will be hitting a different kind of milestone, as Keeping up with the Kardashians ends its lengthy run on cable. The Kardashian and Jenner clan have all figured out different and unique ways to diversify their revenue in recent years and Kylie Skin is just one of those revenue streams. Yet, without the TV show, there will be one less way Kylie and her famous mom and sisters will be in front of our eyeballs on any given day, so assumedly social media will become more and more important moving forward. I have to ask, will you miss ‘em?
