It all started on E! News’ Instagram page, where the outlet stumbled upon a shocking sight. Apparently, Paul Wesley bore a striking resemblance to pop star Justin Bieber when he was a teen, and there are pictures to prove it. Wesley not only saw the post, but also responded to it, with Nina Dobrev chiming in for further Vampire Diaries fun. First, the Bieber/Wesley look-a-like evidence (start at photo 5/6):

The Vampire Diaries co-stars took to the Instagram post’s comments section to weigh in on their “long-lost son.” After all, the resemblance is uncanny, and one does not have to be under the influence of Wesley and Ian Somerhalder’s Brother’s Bond bourbon to see it. Wesley and Davis clashed over politics. No matter what side of the divide you landed on, Justin Bieber’s resemblance to Wesley will probably bring a lot of fans together.
