In fact, his team is reportedly feeling so good about it that they have a Dodge Ram pickup truck stretch limo on standby to pick up Joe Exotic if the pardon comes through. As of now, Exotic is serving a 22-year sentence for numerous counts.
At 57-years-old, Joe Exotic’s current sentence puts him getting out of prison in his late 70s, which is potentially a near-life sentence. Exotic’s life in prison has reportedly included getting quarantined in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. News of a potential presidential pardon also comes after Joe Exotic launched a civil rights lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Interior and the U.S. Federal Wildlife Service.
The Tiger King star dropped the suit earlier this summer with the possibility of revitalizing it, per The Oklahoman.
