90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 2 is nearing its end and, as usual, the story in the lives of the featured couples continues on well past when the cameras stop rolling. As such, sometimes what's true with the couple in the present day isn't always what's seen on camera, or even presented in the tell-all. As an example, viewers recently watched Tim Clarkson and Melyza Zeta discuss navigating and surviving a long-distance relationship yet again, though social media suggests it's possible that didn't work out.
Fans are wondering what's up with Tim and Melyza after the latter made a cryptic post on her Instagram. The picture, which can be seen below, was uploaded with the following slightly concerning caption:
The song Melyza Zeta appeared to reference is "Happier" by Marshmello and Bastille, which is said to be a breakup song. The song talks about two people who are in a relationship but realize the only way they can both be happy is if they go their separate ways. Is the post referencing this song a sign that Melyza and Tim Clarkson have split?
After a review of Tim Clarkson's Instagram page, it appears he has not been back to Colombia in some time. Obviously, COVID-19 may have played a role in that, but we also see limited interaction with Melyza Zeta. The two had a brief exchange on his page in a picture promoting the show, and the chat seemed pretty cordial. After that, one has to go all the way back to February to see a picture of them together, in a picture where Tim is still in Colombia.
Tim Clarkson and Melyza Zeta's relationship had improved in the time he was in Colombia, which made his reveal that he was going back to America on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way all the more devastating. Tim said he needed to return to America to remain financially stable, which he believed would overall be healthy for their relationship. Melyza, of course, had doubts about Tim not being close by, especially after his infidelity while they were separated. Tim was also hurt that Melyza had a relationship during their separation, and it was clear neither felt 100% sure about the relationship lasting should he leave again.
Melyza Zeta's recent post may mean the two are done, but we can only speculate. Additionally, many couples in 90 Day Fiancé go through up and down periods, so it's possible Tim Clarkson and Melyza could just be in a down period. Perhaps more information will be revealed in the remaining episodes of the season, or the eventual tell-all.
