As 90 Day Fiancé makes some big additions to its programming by producing a slew of spinoffs for streaming, it looks like some of the cast members of the franchise are going through some changes as well. Most notably, Angela Deem recently popped on social media to celebrate her birthday, and she looks a whole lot slimmer than when audiences last saw her.
The wife of Nigerian cast member Michael Ilesanmi shared some photos on Instagram of her birthday celebration. Check out the pictures below, which are full of pictures of Angela celebrating her big day with her grandchildren with different look:
Angela did not directly reference any weight loss or acknowledge it in her photos, which is surprising given how noticeably different she looks in the picture. It's also worth noting that this change appears to be recent, as Angela has been a featured commentator on 90 Day Fiancé: HEA Strikes Back and Pillow Talk.
Angela Deem noted in the tell-all for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? that she wanted to lose some weight and possibly do some plastic surgery. Michael wasn't on board with the idea, but as any viewer knows, Angela is usually the one who wins out whenever the two have a disagreement. Angela may have been seeking to better herself through weight loss and procedures, but if that's the case, then why the secrecy?
The answer may be because 90 Day Fiancé is planning yet another spinoff based around the life of Angela Deem. Rumors swirled not long ago that the star was spotted in talks with reality television decision-makers and Natasha Fett, the same woman who helped Here Comes Honey Boo Boo's Mama June on her weight loss journey. They turned that whole thing into a series, so it's possible Angela has been filming with a crew and hoping to get her own spinoff on TLC.
Angela Deem is certainly one of 90 Day Fiancé's most polarizing cast members, though she doesn't seem to care whether people love or hate her. Without a doubt, she's one of the most charismatic and fiery personalities to grace the program in recent seasons, and as The Family Chantel has shown, that can only help when it comes to TLC ordering spinoff series. It's also possible Angela has decided to make healthy choices for her own benefit. This could have absolutely nothing to do with reality television, though given the rumor from early October, I can't help but be a little suspicious.
