A Real Housewives Of Orange County Star Just Admitted To Hitting Her Husband
The Real Housewives franchise delivers dramatic reveals on a weekly basis when new episodes are airing, and the latest installment of The Real Housewives of Orange County saw one of the stars admitting to hitting her husband. Braunwyn Windham-Burke, who joined Real Housewives of Orange County in Season 14, opened up on the December 9 episode about when she has hit her husband, Sean Burke.
The December 9 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills saw Braunwyn Windham-Burke open up about her struggles with alcohol during quarantine as well as her conflicts with Sean Burke, and she openly admitted to hitting him. Windham-Burke said:
According to Braunwyn Windham-Burke, she lost her temper with Sean Burke when she wasn't happy with his reaction to a struggle with the vacuum cleaner. In that scene, which Windham-Burke filmed herself while going through clothes in her closet, she was seemingly frustrated with her situation, but surprisingly candid considering her admission was being recorded for a hit TV show.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke didn't elaborate on what happened in Aspen in her self-filmed footage, but she shared more details in a confessional. She stated:
Now 7-years-old, Curren Windham-Burke is one of Braunwyn Windham-Burke's seven children with husband Sean Burke, and young Curren evidently saw his mother strike his father "hard." The incident was bad enough that she considers it a side of herself that she'd never seen, and that she compared it to when she hit him because of the vacuum cleaner.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke is relatively new to The Real Housewives of Orange County, joining in Season 14 and part of the cast of the current Season 15. The only cast member who has been around for fewer seasons is Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, whose first season is the fifteenth. Recent episodes have seen the stars dealing with the complications of quarantine, with Burke sharing that AA meetings online "are not the same."
Fellow star Kelly Dodd wound up in hot water earlier this year when she made comments about the COVID pandemic "thinning the herd," although she later apologized. Shannon Beador also tested positive for COVID herself in July, along with her three teenage daughters. That said, production didn't stop, and new episodes will continue to air.
