90 Day Fiance's Jihoon Lee Just Had A Fundraiser Surface For Custody Battle With Deavan Clegg
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way has been done with Season 2 for a couple of weeks now, but the drama still rages on for the couples featured on the show. Fans are no doubt familiar with the ongoing feud between estranged couple Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee and the ongoing back and forth about whether or not Jihoon wants to see his son, Taeyang.
Now, it appears fans are getting involved, and a fundraiser has quietly surfaced with the purpose of raising money for Jihoon Lee to enter a custody battle with Deavan Clegg for his son. The page features a picture of Jihoon and Taeyang and is accompanied by the following caption:
It should be said straight away that the organizer of this fundraiser is not Jihoon Lee but seemingly a fan who is based in America. As of writing, there has not been any acknowledgment of the fundraiser on his social media, nor any indication he's aware of it. With that being said, Jihoon has worked through fans (via Theashleyrealityroundup.com) of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in the past, specifically in circumstances when it comes to Taeyang. Is it possible he could be tied to this effort as well?
It's a possibility, especially given an incident earlier this year in which Jihoon Lee tried to send Taeyang a care package. According to a post later addressed by Deavan Clegg (who did not accept the package), Jihoon sent the care package to a fan in America, who then sent it to Deavan's personal address. In the past, Deavan alleged this fan has written statements for Jihoon, so this fundraiser may have been made by the same fan, hoping to raise money for a custody battle.
Another possibility is this is just a fan looking to help Jihoon Lee independently and is not affiliated with any people he's made contact with in the past. In either case, I wouldn't think it's wise for any 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fan to donate to the cause unless there's some evidence that Jihoon Lee is aware or supports the fundraiser. Scam fundraisers are an unfortunate part of the internet, and it wouldn't be too surprising to hear someone could be using the former couple's well-publicized drama to potentially cash in on a payday.
90 Day Fiancé airs on TLC Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for more on the franchise, and for more news happening in television and movies.
