90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After couple Paul and Karine Staehle may have mended the bridge in their marriage, but a recent interview has revealed it was not an easy road to get there. Paul opened up about the ins and outs of his marriage to Karine, and made some truly wild claims in the process.
In an interview with the Domenick Nati Show, Paul made some claims about his life married to Karine, as well as some details on their relationship and time on 90 Day Fiancé that fans may not be aware of. Says She Sees Other Men, But Only After His Background Checks
In one of the most interesting claims, Paul Staehle said that his wife Karine will go off with other men with his son Pierre sometimes for days at a time. Paul didn't explicitly say the visits were romantic in nature, but didn't deny that it was a possibility. Though he said he couldn't stop it, Paul assured that he does perform background checks on men Karine is interested in, and has intervened in the past if the checks came back questionable.
Paul Claimed Karine Was Almost Hired By Sex Traffickers
In one of the instances Paul intervened with Karine visiting men, he talked about an opportunity where Karine was offered a rather unique job. In Paul's telling, he said Karine explained she would be living with someone and traveling to hotels to meet men. Paul intervened and explained to Karine that the "job" was not a good situation and likely sex trafficking, and after that she eventually agreed not to further pursue it.
Pleads The Fifth On Karine Drinking Alcohol During Pregnancy
Paul Staehle was asked point-blank if Karine drinks during her pregnancy, and he danced around the answer for a bit before saying he would like to "plead the fifth." While Paul didn't say one way or the other, one would imagine he would have no problem denying the fact that Karine drank during her pregnancy if that were true.
Karine Threatened To Divorce Paul And TLC Cameras Came Down To Document It
It's not necessarily news that Karine Staehle threatened to divorce Paul while the two were in production for 90 Day Fiancé, but it was surprising to learn the crew arrived at his home for an unexpected filming day when Karine called them saying she wanted to divorce him. Similar claims were made by Deavan Clegg when she said she reached out to TLC for her issues with Jihoon Lee, and given that these folks signed on to film a reality show, it's not too hard to believe it happened.
Paul Would Consider A Threesome If It Promoted The Health Of Their Marriage
If the interview revealed one alleged unknown thing about Paul Staehle and Karine's marriage, it's that their marriage has some openness to it. Paul was asked about a rumor that he and Karine had a threesome with another person, which he denied. The 90 Day Fiancé star did say though that if a threesome was suggested, and he felt like it would help their marriage overall, he would do it.
