90 Day Fiance's Julia Defends Brandon's Family After Criticisms Of Animal Mistreatment
Warning! The following may contain spoilers for Season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé. Read at your own risk!
90 Day Fiancé couple Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina are one of the more interesting couples of Season 8, thanks in part to the meddling of Brandon's parents since her arrival in the United States. The couple hasn't had much time alone thanks to the strict rules and limitations set by Brandon's parents Ron and Betty Gibbs, and the daily life and work required to maintain their farm and lifestyle as dog breeders.
Ron and Betty have gotten some criticism from fans about their gig as dog breeders, as shots of the kennels on 90 Day Fiancé always seem to see the German Shepherds locked away. Now the Russian-born Julia has broken her silence on the matter via social media, and in a rather blunt way, has explained to fans that all is not as it seems.
Julia is willing to go to bat for Brandon's family and told her followers that the dogs that are on the farm are treated humanely, and much better than it may seem on 90 Day Fiancé. It seemed like Julia felt a need to speak positively about Brandon Gibbs' family, after alleged claims about the conditions of the farm.
Ron and Betty Gibbs seem to have been in the animal breeding business for a while, as the Vom Brandon Haus website revealed the Gibbs farm was established back in 1998. It's a legacy the Gibbs family has expressed they want their son Brandon to take over, which may be why Julia Trubkina is interested in keeping the family's business unsullied. Of course, that's assuming she gets to be a part of this family, as we still haven't seen where the couple's relationship will end up on 90 Day Fiancé.
I can only speculate as to the status of Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina, but one would think that if they were no longer together, Julia wouldn't be defending his parent's business. The two also still follow each other on social media, though that's obviously not a sign that the two were wed or are still engaged. We'll just have to continue to tune into the series and see where else things go for them.
90 Day Fiancé airs on TLC Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for all the latest happening on the series, and for more news in television and movies.
