For years, people have speculated about who Michael B. Jordan is or isn’t dating. The actor has only given small peeks into his private life while largely avoiding the subject of his love life. Recently, photos surfaced of Michael B. Jordan exiting a private jet with Steve Harvey’s stepdaughter, Lori Harvey, over Thanksgiving weekend. Since then, there has been speculation that the two are dating. While the two have denied the rumors, a close source seemed to provide an answer regarding the alleged couple’s relationship status.
In recent years, it seems that Michael B. Jordan been linked to just about everyone, from Black Panther co-star Lupita Nyong’o to rapper Megan Thee Stallion. So the rumors about him and Lori Harvey are essentially just another episode in the Michael B. Jordan dating saga. The rumors of a relationship ramped up even more after the two reportedly vacationed together in Utah over New Year’s weekend. While things have been cloudy regarding the two, a close source of the rumored couple spoke to Hollywood Life about their relationship:
That’s not to say she will never post about him, but she has been hesitant because she knows from experience what happens. It’s actually not hard for her to keep it off social because she has no problem moving in silence.
Other sources went to talk about Lori Harvey’s reported feelings about the actor. According to them, Steve Harvey’s daughter has been taking things slow with Michael B. Jordan following her very public relationship with rapper Future:
She really doesn’t share that much of her life. But yes, they are seeing each other, and she does seem to be very happy. Eventually, they probably will go Instagram official, but so far she’s been enjoying keeping it private. Lori was really public about her romance when she was dating Future. She was always posting photos and videos with him, and about him, on social media, and she was proud to show him off. But after things fizzled out between them, she decided to not share as much of her personal life on social media.
Given Lori Harvey’s public relationship history, it’s understandable how guarded she has been about her alleged relationship with Michael B. Jordan. His tendency to guard his private life may be playing a role in their secrecy. An actor of his caliber likely wants the public to be more interested in his acting roles than in his dating life.
2020 was a mixed bag for Michael B. Jordan. The A-list star was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive, but he and his Black Panther family also mourned the loss of Chadwick Boseman. But 2021 seems to be looking up for the actor, as he is set to appear in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse and Disney+’s What If…?. He will also produce both AMC's 61at Street and Warner Bros.' live-action adaption of Milestone Media’s Static Shock. But the biggest milestone for the actor is that he is set to return for Creed 3, which will mark his directorial debut.
Like any celebrity, Michael B. Jordan’s love life will always be a subject of rumors and speculation. But if he’s happy with Lori Harvey, then that’s all that matters. Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse will arrive on Prime Video on Feb. 16.
