Kylie Jenner Reveals She's Wrapped Keeping Up With The Kardashians In New Post
It’s the end of an era. In fact we’ve known it’s been approaching the end of an era for a while, but Kylie Jenner confirmed this week that her time on E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians is officially over. This weekend, she filmed her very last scene on the long-running reality show, a show that kept her in the limelight from the time she was a young woman into adulthood. Her famous sister Kim Kardashian also confirmed her own wrap on the series, as well.
Kylie Jenner didn’t share a ton of details or emotion regarding shooting her final scene for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but we do know she looked flawless for the episodes. She shared a look all in white and keeping her hair in the long braid members of the family have favored lately as she broke the news:
Ever since Kris Jenner announced Keeping Up With The Kardashians would be ending, the family has still been on our TV screens and all over the internet. Therefore, the ending of the show has felt pretty abstract until this moment. We’ve heard it’s coming, we know it’s coming, but as the Kardashian and Jenner clan keep wrapping their respective final scenes on the E! series, it should start feeling more and more real. In fact, while Kim Kardashian didn't share an image of the moment, she did reveal to E! what it felt like to wrap on the reality series, noting,
Of course, there will still be a final set of episodes to come. Season 19 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians aired from September to November 12 of 2019 with one more to go. The show has featured a lower episode count the last couple of seasons, and I'd expect that to remain the same for its final season, which is definitely going to be hitting "early in the year," according to NBC Universal.
Why Keeping Up With The Kardashians Is Ending After Season 20
Ryan Seacrest previously said of the show ending that it was time and that the family was “ready for its final chapter.” He also noted at that time that Kris Jenner had come to him first when the family felt the decision had been made.
Season 20 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians will be the last for the series, which first began running on E! as reality TV itself was becoming more and more popular back in 2007. That’s 13 years the likes of Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kris Jenner spent on camera at the cabler, also spawning spinoffs and more. This is a particularly big deal for Kylie and Kendall, who both had to go through the pains of growing into adulthood on TV.
That wasn’t really a raw deal, however, as Kylie Jenner was declared a billionaire a while back. Though she may be making slightly less money these days, she’s still built a major brand for herself. Kendall Jenner, on the other hand, has a successful career as a model. And to think that this empire was grown in the aftermath of their famous sister Kim Kardashian’s sex tape being released. It still boggles the mind more than a decade later.
