Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been a major topic of discussion lately, as reports suggest the two are headed for divorce. While the two have not publicly commented on the matter, outlets report that the alleged split is due to the couple drifting apart and focusing on different priorities. However, TikToker Ava Louise set the internet ablaze when she claimed that the split was partially due to West sleeping with YouTuber Jeffree Star. Louise’s claim has since been shot down by Star. But now, it also seems the social media influencer has also made a false claim about Kris Jenner.
After making the initial Jeffree Star claim, Ava Louise returned to TikTok to confirm that she fabricated the story. During the video, she also claimed she received a cease-and-desist letter from Kris Jenner regarding the situation. However, a representative for Jenner confirmed in a statement (via TMZ) that she was unaware of Louise and that no legal action has been taken. But the rep also stated that Jenner will move forward with legal action if Louise continues to make up stories:
We have zero clue who this person is and have not yet taken legal action. However, if she continues to spread lie after lie and a fake letter in a desperate cry for public attention, which she has admitted on record that she's seeking, then we will have no choice but to take legal action on principle.
Kris Jenner’s rep did not mince words when it came to Ava Louise. In the statement, the rep went on to slam Louise for fabricating stories in an effort to “monetize and get attention” for her brand:
Making up fake stories in an effort to monetize and get attention which has a direct effect on people’s lives is not OK. Perhaps she should spend that time instead seeking the help that she clearly needs to deal with her issues.
Needless to say, Kris Jenner appears to be very serious about taking legal action should the need arise. The business woman and matriarch has been in her fair share of legal battles, so it’s not surprising that she would have no problem entering another if it's absolutely necessary.
Neither Kim Kardashian nor Kanye West responded to the claims made by Ava Louise. Jeffree Star, however, seems to have enjoyed poking fun at and debunking it. Interestingly, the YouTube star has also claimed that due to the rumor, rappers are now sliding into his DM’s.
The general public is still mostly in the dark when it comes to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marital situation. And until either of their reps provides some clarification, rumors could continue to spread. But if this Ava Louise situation is any indication, it looks like Kris Jenner has their back from a legal standpoint.
