What 90 Day Fiance Viewers Don't Know About Amira's Father, According To Andrew

Hamdi 90 Day Fiance TLC

Warning! The following contains spoilers for the 90 Day Fiancé episode "Unsure and Insecure." Read at your own risk!

90 Day Fiancé wasted no time getting back into Andrew Kenton and Amira Lollysa's COVID vacation gone wrong, which was completely derailed by Amira facing detainment and ultimately being sent back to Europe. The latest episode showed Amira back in France and talking with her father Hamdi about how plans went awry, and he wasted no time in trashing the whole plan while putting most of the blame on Andrew.

Andrew apparently caught wind of Hamdi slamming him, and he popped onto Instagram stories before the episode aired to inform fans about Amira's father with an assessment of his own. Hamdi may have been pretty harsh with his words, but I think Andrew may have gone just a bit harsher in his claims about his fiancé's father.

Quote from last week: 'He is not a man.' This is especially hilarious given who said it. Amira's father, Hamdi, has never met any of Amira's boyfriends. He cycles in and out of homelessness. He is always begging for money. (I have given to Amira's family substantially). He is feckless, taking money, but has some delusion to believe he is the man. That's some man right there. [He] abandoned Amira when she was a child, never paid a penny, and only came back when she was an adult. He tricks the French government for benefits. He has repeatedly tried to get his daughter on TV. Big Brother France and various others. Fame over everything.

I don't want to jump to conclusions about where Andrew Kenton and Amira Lollysa's relationship will end up, but it seems pretty apparent by these statements that the two are no longer together. This would mark the second time that Andrew has mentioned fame being a factor in this whole situation, though the first time that he included any claims about Amira's father being in on any of it.

For now, Andrew's claims are just his word without any corroboration, so it should be noted this isn't a confirmation that any of it is true. What does seem to be true is that things went south for Andrew and Amira after her detainment, though 90 Day Fiancé has not shown any real issues in their relationship to this point. The TLC series also hasn't provided any visual evidence of an additional claim made by Andrew, who seemed to allege that Amira wasn't without her phone the entire time she was in detainment after all.

Also side fact: Amira never called me or her father when she was detained. But she called someone. Y'all might be surprised who?

Even if his opinions aren't meant to be taken as gospel at this point, I'm certainly interested in learning more of what Andrew Kenton has to say, especially since he's the latest cast member to allege that 90 Day Fiancé isn't telling the story the way that certain cast members believe it went down. We can only wait and see how he ultimately feels about his portrayal this season, as well as whether Amira Lollysa will respond in the coming weeks to the various claims he's made against her and her family.

Do you believe Andrew Kenton's claims about Amira Lollysa's father? Better yet, do you think it's right for the cast member to air this information out publicly? Let us know in the comments and catch 90 Day Fiancé on TLC Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET.
