Big Brother's Tyler Crispen And Angela Rummans Secretly Got Engaged In A Crazy Way
It wasn't but a week ago when it was rumored that Big Brother's Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans had stepped away from social media amid a cheating scandal, which was swiftly refuted by the two-some. Now, it appears one of the reasons the two were away has been revealed, and it comes with a pretty crazy story to boot. Tyler and Angela are officially engaged, and it all happened in a rather unique and crazy way.
The revelation came via the couple's Vlog, in a video mostly narrated by Tyler as he planned to propose to Angela without her knowing. The plan was for Tyler and Angela to meet with a videographer on the beach under the guise of an interview for some lifestyle magazine about life in Hilton Head, South Carolina, where the two currently live. During this fake interview, Tyler was going to get a call from his old boss from his lifeguarding days about an ocean rescue where they needed assistance. Tyler would run over a dune at the beach and, if all went according to plan, Angela would follow and see signs being held by her family, with Tyler at the end ready to propose.
The plan was in place but, just days before the proposal, Tyler Crispen could still talk to Angela Rummans' father about obtaining permission for the marriage. Tyler finally managed to hunt him down, only to find out he had blocked Tyler's number, thinking he was a telemarketer because of the number of times Tyler had been calling. Tyler finally obtained permission, and the plan was locked in for the big day:
The plan ultimately went off without a hitch, despite the hiccups in the final days ahead of it. The two were officially engaged on Sunday, January 10, which was about two weeks before the rumor of their disappearance on social media being tied to infidelity and a breakup. Now, only a few days later, the two revealed they've been engaged for a couple of weeks and were enjoying their time as a couple away from fans.
And while we've never gotten any direct address to the cheating allegations regarding Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans, fans need to understand they don't need every detail. Big Brother fans now know the two are still together and more importantly, will be getting married sometime in the future. The only thing I want to know now is what Big Brother alumni will be on the guest list and if they'll have to pay to attend, as was the case with Nicole Franzel's postponed ceremony.
Big Brother is tentatively slated to air Season 23 this summer though, as we knew with the previous season and the pandemic, that can always be subject to change. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for more updates on that as they come, and read up on how Julie Chen fought for a return of Celebrity Big Brother this year that didn't happen.
