Kim Kardashian has had a lot on her plate as of late. The reality TV star and law student is currently in the midst of divorce proceedings with estranged husband Kanye West. She now has another situation on her hands, as a man recently crashed through the gates of her home. Now, the man has seemingly revealed his motive for charging onto the celebrity’s property.
The 24-year-old man crashed his car into the front gates of Kim Kardashian’s Hidden Hills home this past Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. and managed to breach the main gate, per TMZ. It was believed that the man was aiming to track down Kardashian. According to the trade’s sources, the man told law enforcement that he was indeed going to see Kardashian, and allegedly claimed she was his wife.
Kim Kardashian was reportedly unharmed during the situation, and security reportedly managed to stop the man before he could get anywhere near her actual home. According to the sheriff, the man was cited for trespassing and has since been released.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Kim Kardashian has had a negative experience with intruders. Back in 2016, she was robbed at gunpoint while staying at an apartment in Paris. Five individuals dressed as police officers bound and gagged her and stole $10 million worth of jewelry. The incident left Kardashian quite shaken and led her to beef up her security. Thankfully, this recent situation didn’t get nearly as dangerous as the 2016 incident.
This past year has been particularly eventful for Kim Kardashian, as rumors constantly swirled around her and soon-to-be ex-husband Kanye West. Reports claimed that the two were living separate lives, and the coverage was so extensive that many were analyzing whether or not the star was sporting her wedding ring in public. This persisted for months until it was finally reported that Kardashian had formally filed for divorce after six years.
On top of this, while their divorce was still only speculation, social media pundits became linked to it. A TikToker even went as far as to claim that the divorce was partially due to Kanye West allegedly sleeping with YouTuber Jeffree Star. The YouTube beauty guru eventually shot down the rumors. Believe it or not, that same TikToker also made claims aimed at Kardashian-Jenner family matriarch Kris Jenner. Needless to say, the past year hasn’t been the easiest for the couple.
Despite the intruders and legal proceedings though, Kardashian seems to be headed towards a fresh start after turning 40 last year. With everything she’s been through up to this point, one would hope that things can only go up from here.
