It’s widely known that Zooey Deschanel and Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott have been seeing each other for a while now, and the couple seems to be getting along pretty well. However, they’ve kept things relatively private since linking up, much to the disappointment of the public, as people would likely love to see some adorable photos. Well, look no further, as Scott recently posted a rare snapshot. And in her typical humorous way, Deschanel called him out with an A+ comment.
In Jonathan Scott’s photo, he and Zooey Deschanel can be seen smiling and enjoying a beautiful day together. Deschanel could be seen sporting a bonnet and, in the comments of the original Instagram post, the New Girl alum couldn’t help but joke about her headwear:
Haha. Controversy! I am very amused by this conclusion that you would take the time to photoshop a picture from our hike and not that I was unironically wearing a ridiculously oversized Easter bonnet so big you could barely fit in the picture.
It looks like Jonathan Scott’s post was a bit surprising for Zooey Deschanel, seeing as how he didn’t use the opportunity to point out the size of her bonnet. If that’s not a good boyfriend, then I don’t know what is. Check out Scott’s original post down below:
The two stars are pretty adorable together, and it would be nice to see more of them on social media together. Nevertheless, they are entitled to whatever level of privacy they’d like when it comes to their romance.
Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott were originally confirmed to be dating in 2019. This came shortly after Deschanel announced her separation from ex-husband Jacob Pechenik. Since then, the pair have engaged in the typical couple activities, including spending Valentine’s Day together. Their romance has also led to a nice HGTV-related experience for Deschanel.
The actress had the opportunity to appear alongside her boyfriend and his brother, Drew Scott, on HGTV’s Celebrity IOU. Originally, Zooey Deschanel was only meant to observe the brothers’ renovation, but she soon found herself getting even more involved, making for a fun viewing experience for audiences. Now, this doesn’t mean Deschanel has officially joined the home improvement network, but it does seem to enjoy her relationship with Scott. The network’s social media account even provided a fun response to her appearance on the program.
Let’s hope that isn’t the last time we see Zooey Deschanel throwing down and getting to work on a Property Brothers series.
