S.W.A.T.'s Shemar Moore Has A Message For The Fans Thinking About Skipping This Week's Episode

Shemar Moore in U-Turn Episode of S.W.A.T. CBS

This week, CBS’ S.W.A.T. is back with an all-new Season 4 episode, and series lead Shemar Moore has a message from Hondo for anyone who was even thinking about skipping the all-new high octane adventure. The actor took to Instagram to share a message for fans, which basically boils down to: your butt needs to be there. Take a look.

He’s teasing of course, but what an on-brand way for Shemar Moore to encourage the fanbase to tune back in. This is particularly true given S.W.A.T. didn’t air a new episode last week. The spring TV schedule can get a little wonky this time of year, as some shows go on hiatus before that final run of episode leading to season finales. Those usually hit the schedule in early May, but the networks have been experimenting with staggering finales a little more in recent TV seasons.

S.W.A.T.’s recent gap in particular was a little weird, because the show only skipped one week before returning to the schedule with a new episode, but that doesn’t mean Shemar Moore was going to let down the hype. In fact, the CBS series lead is notable for how much he pumps fans up for new episodes and was already touting this week’s episode a few days ago.

So, what can we expect from the show this week? Well, as you know, Hondo’s storyline has been really personal this season, and he recently got money involved with a new business venture to potentially help ex-cons. And Chris, of course, has still been reeling from that shocking death on the series a short while ago and has not been taking care of herself. In this week’s episode, “U-Turn” the team will be looking to save a group of “international activists,” per CBS, while Hondo will be concerned about history repeating itself in his family. As Moore alluded to, it should be one to look forward to.

As for finales, that staggering thing I mentioned earlier is true for this year, too. CBS has already released its schedule for when we can expect major finales. S.W.A.T. will be coming on May 19, but you can see the full list below.
