It’s safe to say Kim Kardashian has had a lot going on as of late. At present, the reality TV star is in the middle of divorce proceedings with estranged husband Kanye West and dealing with the subsequent changes in her personal life. Now, Kardashian is experiencing another change, as she’s officially been labeled a billionaire by Forbes. And around the same time the news broke, she appeared to mark the occasion with a bikini photo in which she’s soaking up the sand and sun on the beach.
For the first time ever, Kim Kardashian was added to Forbes’ annual “World’s Billionaire List,” with the magazine noting that her net worth now sits at $1 billion. This change in her monetary standing is the result of her successful KKW Beauty and Skims businesses, along with her TV show and various endorsements.
Kim Kardashian didn’t explicitly mention the accomplishment in her recent Instagram post, though she did seem incredibly happy in the photos. She also included a brief caption that accurately encapsulates her current mood. You can check out the post for yourself down below:
Kim Kardashian tends to strike a pose with a serious look in most of her social media photos, yet this may be the widest smile we’ve seen her with in a while. I mean let’s be honest, if any of us were just officially classified as billionaires, we’d probably be grinning from ear to ear and relaxing, too.
The business mogul is, of course, not the first member of her family to have been named a billionaire, as younger sister Kylie Jenner previously earned the title back in 2019, thanks to her Kylie Cosmetics company. However, last fall, Jenner’s net worth was actually dropped from over $1 billion to $900 million, before being dropped again to $700 million. She certainly isn’t wanting for money due to the changes, but it does mean that she now officially loses her position as the Kardashian-Jenner family’s most financially successful member to her older sister.
Kim Kardashian’s most recent post falls right in line with the way she’s celebrated some other milestones. One of the most recent is her 40th birthday, which she also marked by posting a jaw-dropping bikini photo that proves she’ll continue to slay for years to come. But even when she’s not celebrating, she still has no problem sending out a bikini pic, which was the case when she recently posted while on a Spring Break vacation with her children.
With Keeping Up with the Kardashians having officially wrapped filming on its final season, fans won’t be able to see Kim Kardashian’s very first response to being named a billionaire. But to be honest, the feelings of joy she expresses in this recent post probably speak louder than any reaction she would have had on the show.
