Following Real Housewives Rumors, Country Star Jana Kramer Is Heading For Divorce From NFL Vet Husband
Many thought after auditioning to be a castmate for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and making allusions to “filming something” last week that country singer Jana Kramer was going to be on a supposed new Real Housewives of Nashville. Kramer and her husband Michael Caussin, a former player for the Washington Redskins, would have certainly been huge additions to the franchise, but it turns out the rumors were untrue. It might just be for the best, though, as now Kramer and Caussin are apparently joining the ranks of celebs heading for divorce.
The prolific singer and actress, who came to fame on One Tree Hill, announced the separation from husband and NFL vet Michael Caussin on Instagram on Wednesday. In the lengthy post, Kramer reflected that she’s “fought” and “forgiven” but “can’t fight any longer” and needs to “heal.” See the rest here:
Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin’s soon-to-be divorce is allegedly the result of issues stemming from infidelity. After Caussin’s stint in rehab for sex addiction almost five years ago, the two have been quite open and honest about their struggles. According to a source for People, however, their marriage can’t continue with the same pattern anymore. They said,
The news of Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin’s impending divorce is slightly awkward with no shortchange of difficulty, no matter how you slice it. They share two young children, ages 5 and 2. Last year, they released a joint book on their marriage called The Good Fight: Wanting to Leave, Choosing to Stay, and the Powerful Practice for Loving Faithfully. Moreover, Kramer and Caussin host a successful podcast through iHeartRadio.
The former couple even made a presentation for their own reality show, which is what Jana Kramer was really referring to last week about “filming something” – not Real Housewives of Nashville. She told People just last week:
Raising kids together, writing a book together, sharing on a podcast together, and even filming a non-Real Housewives reality series together all sounds like a very unusual dynamic to navigate after separating. Everyone knows divorce isn’t easy but working together on top of it sounds downright complicated. Even so, it sounds perfect for the likes of the Real Housewives franchise, so I think Jana Kramer shouldn’t knock it quite yet.
