Tim Allen Shared Look At Final Shots From One Last Man Standing Set, And I'm Not Crying, You're Crying
Last Man Standing has experienced a solid run over two networks, but the Tim Allen comedy is finally coming to an official end. While ABC initially cancelled the sitcom after Season 6, Fox picked up the series the following year for Season 7 and now it’s in its ninth and final, final season. Tim Allen shared multiple photos from set during the final shot and it’s enough to get any longtime fan emotional.
On May 20, fans will have to say goodbye to Mike Baxter and his friends and family after nearly 10 years and just the thought is already making me cry! Tim Allen, who portrays the beloved Mike Baxter, has been sharing photos from set over the last few weeks, including his last shot in the Outdoor Man store, also known as his favorite store ever.
When ABC surprisingly cancelled Last Man Standing for the 2017-18 season, fans were disappointed and campaigns for a renewal ensued. A long year later, Fox announced it would be picking up the series and ended up doing so for three full seasons. When Tim Allen posted a photo from the next-to-last day of filming on Twitter, he couldn’t help but thank all those that watched through the years:
Finishing a series that has been running for a long time isn't always easy on actors and on March 30, Last Man Standing became the latest series to finish filming. Tim Allen shared a photo of the front door and indicated he was so sad yet had piles upon piles of gratitude and memories that will no doubt last a lifetime.
When it came down to it, during the final curtain call, the cast was hand-in-hand, and Tim Allen shared a photo from it. The entire cast holding hands and smiling is a heartwarming image that could help soothe the sting of the show coming to an end.
Earlier this week, Tim Allen posted the last cast shot in retail space and although the picture is radiating good vibes from everyone, his post was a little cryptic when he brought up Kaitlyn Dever’s Eve Baxter. While Dever wasn’t in the shot, Allen said that Eve was just flying a fighter jet, which suggests that she could possibly be in the series finale. However way that could happen remains unknown, possibly until the finale airs so to not spoil anything.
With not many episodes left until Last Man Standing comes to an end, it will be an emotional time for fans and the cast, even more now than ever. It will be interesting to see how this series wraps up and how each story comes to a satisfying end. Last Man Standing airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT onFox.
