Flip Or Flop's Christina Haack Calls Out Ex Tarek El Moussa For Episode Mix Up
Co-parenting is one thing post-divorce, but working together too sounds like its own beast. Former couple Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa, though, have made it seem like a cake walk after continuing their business partnership on HGTV’s Flip or Flop for years after their divorce in 2017. But a snafu ensued recently over a supposed episode mix up, and it seems that Haack couldn’t help but continue the marital tradition of talking for one’s significant other – even if it’s an ex version.
Flip or Flop returned to HGTV last night for the first of the last few episodes of Season 9. Ahead of the premiere, Tarek El Moussa attempted to gas up Flip or Flop by promising on Instagram that the first new episode was one of the duo’s “favorite flips we’ve ever done.” Christina Haack quickly took her ex-husband to task and correct El Moussa’s apparent confusion of what his real favorite flip was. She commented on the post,
Their reality show gained its initial popularity by showcasing the ups and downs of a married couple taking on the stressors of flipping raggedy houses for profit. It seems the only true difference now is that they’re not still married. Even in last night’s episode of Flip or Flop, Tarek El Moussa came to Christina Haack’s place to discuss potential houses and Haack jokingly pushed a name plate toward her ex that read “Boss Lady.”
Christina Haack, who just split from Ant Anstead last year, might be the Boss Lady of Flip or Flop, on which she and Tarek El Moussa still invest and flip properties as a unit. But the New Boss Lady of El Moussa’s heart headlines one of Netflix’s most popular reality series: Heather Rae Young of Selling Sunset. Much like Haack, El Moussa’s fiancée took the time to also comment on the Instagram post in question, albeit more supportively and with more clapping emojis.
Heather Rae Young and Tarek El Moussa are the epitome of fiancés madly in love, who aren’t afraid to show it on the Gram. In one of El Moussa’s more recent posts, he gushed about his wife-to-be, saying,
In slight contrast, the Selling Sunset star’s posts seem to more regularly incorporate selfies with her testaments to love for Tarek El Moussa. Heather Rae Young shocked the Internet recently when it came to light that she had tattooed “Yes sir, Mr. El Moussa” near her bum. She later explained that the tattoo was “something special” for her fiancé, saying, “Daddy is the boss. I’m the queen of the house. We do it with the kids.”
It’s unclear if Christina Haack had as many words for Heather Rae Young about that tattoo as she did her ex-husband about an episode mix up. Nonetheless, the blended family seem to be making the most out of what others might consider pretty awkward circumstances. Young and the kids are featured in the current season of Flip or Flop, in fact.
