The Kardashian-Jenners are familiar with relationship drama, usually the variety that labels their partners as cheaters. But with Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s steamy relationship coming to light, sis Kim Kardashian is now being leveled with cheater accusations by Barker’s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler. In fact, she is accusing Kim, Kourtney and Travis of “destroying” her family in the process.
Initial reports indicated that Shanna Moakler caught Kim Kardashian having an affair with her then-husband Travis Barker, prompting their divorce in 2008 after four years of marriage. Apparently though, it goes much deeper than that for Moakler, who has seemingly changed her mind about Kourtney Kardashian and her relationship with Barker. When asked by TMZ what she would say to the two Keeping Up With the Kardashian stars, Moakler replied, “Thanks for destroying my family twice.” She also said:
My family is broken because of this family and now my kids and I are alienated from each other because of another sister in the family, so yay for me.
Shanna Moakler is reportedly estranged from her two kids – Alabama, 15, and Landon, 17 – that she had with the Blink-182 drummer. Her daughter even appeared to confirm the rumors on her Instagram stories and said Moakler “has never completely been in my life.” Yet in Moakler’s view of things, the POOSH creator was the one to somehow drive that wedge between her and her kids in the first place. This makes for a drastic change of events, considering that she first said to People that Kardashian and Barker’s relationship was “weird” but that she held “no ill will” toward Kardashian.
However, the allegations of an affair between Travis Barker and Kim Kardashian during his marriage to Shanna Moakler are a little different. Moakler accused them publicly, which was emphatically denied by sources supposedly close to Kim Kardashian. Nonetheless, an old post of Aubrey O’Day, who was close to the parties involved during that time period, recently came to light and appeared to corroborate Moakler’s claims. In the post to her Instagram stories, O’Day supposedly wrote (via Perez Hilton):
I was ‘bffs’ with Kim Kardashian during a fourth. She was hooking up with Travis Barker and we were at his house… he was really dope. Shanna his ex (who I love) supposedly was threatening to slash her tires (sorry girl but that was funny shit, I would have too) so they asked her to park her car somewhere else.
On top of the cheating rumors, Travis Barker has also been accused by Shanna Moakler of being emotionally abusive during their marriage. The rapidly escalating situation has yet to be publicly addressed by either Barker or anyone in the Kardashian family.
It remains to be seen if the Kardashian-Jenners will choose to comment directly on the matter. But at this point, it's likely the rumors will continue circulating as Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker continue their public displays of social media affection.
