90 Day Fiancé: Big Ed's Ex Liz Comments On Petition To Get Him Removed From The TLC Franchise
90 Day Fiancé's Big Ed Brown really brought the series into the mainstream in 2020, as folks around the world were captivated by his inaugural season. Since then, some have soured on Ed and his antics, to the point that efforts have been made online to pressure TLC into removing him from the franchise entirely. A petition has surfaced requesting Big Ed be dropped by 90 Day Fiancé, and it may have just gotten its biggest supporter yet in Ed's ex, Elizabeth "Liz" Marie.
Liz Marie, who dated Big Ed during the inaugural season of Discovery+'s 90 Day: The Single Life, has now publicly supported a Change.org petition that lists various reasons TLC should part ways with Big Ed. Liz put a link to the petition in her bio on Instagram and, in her Stories, she talked about the signatures and sent a message to those who may disagree with her sharing the petition:
Given that response, I think it's fair to say that Liz Marie and Big Ed Brown have found a better understanding since the 90 Day: The Single Life tell-all. It appears Liz is actively working on trying and getting her ex booted from the 90 Day Fiancé world by backing a petition that, among other things, alleges he sexually assaulted a former co-worker at a past job.
Liz Marie's recent Ed-related comments came after a tell-all that revealed Ed hung out with other women shortly after his breakup with Liz. Many in the 90 Day: The Single Life cast criticized Ed for his behavior and felt it strange he was able to move on so quickly, despite any hurt he was feeling. Ed had no real answers for Liz during the tell-all but seemed apologetic for his answers the way through.
90 Day Fiancé fans know Liz is not the first disgruntled ex-girlfriend of Big Ed Brown, as Rosemarie Vega also dragged Ed following their relationship on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. Rose alleged that Ed objectified her, going so far as to offer her money to strip for him in a video call. The two squashed their beef during an episode of 90 Day Bares All, so it's possible that once the dust settles on Liz and Ed, they could come to the same understanding.
For now, it's unclear how TLC will respond to fan movements to get Big Ed Brown off television. We can say that fans can currently watch the Ed-free 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? on TLC Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET.
