Kim Kardashian, Ryan Seacrest And More Bid Farewell To Keeping Up With The Kardashians In Touching Posts
In the words of Looney Tunes, that’s all folks! The final episode of the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians has aired. After 20 seasons and 14 years, the show closed out with a lot of reminiscing on past and current relationships, pranks and antics, and followed one last family trip (for the show, at least). But on top of all that, everyone from the show creator and executive producer Ryan Seacrest to mainstays like Kim Kardashian and Co. bid farewell to the reality show in a blitz of touching social media posts.
The story has been told more than once by Kim Kardashian that Ryan Seacrest came to them with an idea for the reality show, but they never considered that it would make it past one season. Likely, they didn’t anticipate it would turn them into household names (and brands) either. Ahead of the last Keeping Up With the Kardashian episode, Seacrest took it back to those very early days in his own farewell post. See it here:
Ryan Seacrest’s post is proof that everything and everyone changes when it’s been 14 years of consistently being in front of the camera and the public eye. Especially one’s style choices. For the stars of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, it’s understandably a little emotional for them to look back at those memories, as well. In the comments under Seacrest's post, momager Kris Jenner wrote:
On Kim Kardashian’s Instagram stories, she posted screengrabs in tribute of Keeping Up With the Kardashians ending, one of which was Ryan Seacrest’s own post with a sad-eye and heart emoji. She also included tons of heartfelt fan tributes that mourned the ending of an “era.” Kardashian concluded her stories with a huge fireworks display going off behind her and the simple caption, “To the final episode of KUWTK.”
The final episode itself of Keeping Up With the Kardashians didn’t relent on the nostalgic and grateful tributes. Moreover, it didn’t stop the reveals. Kim Kardashian opened up more about her relationship with Kanye West and needing to go to therapy. As to the why of their divorce, by Kardashian’s own words, she wanted her partner to live in the same state as her and work out with her every morning – the small things. About the end of the show, Kardashian said in her confessional:
If that isn’t emotional enough for Keeping Up With the Kardashian fans, then you should head over to Khloé Kardashian’s live Twitter reaction to the last episode. She laughed along with those calling her out for her competitive spirit during the game night and responded to dozens of fan tributes. But it was her simple throwback to one of her old lines from the show that got me:
Kourtney Kardashian took to social media with her reaction, even tagging sister Khloé in her message. Apparently, Kourtney was feeling emotional too!

As for Kendall Jenner, she wasn't left out of the social media commentary on the end of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, although she didn't just post a solo message of her own. Instead, she added her thoughts to Ryan Seacrest's more effusive post:
More of the Kardashian-Jenners also reflected on the emotional ending of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, including Kylie Jenner with a short and sweet tweet of her own. But as we all know, it isn’t really and truly the end. A special two-part “tell-all” starts airing June 17. And of course, there’s their new mysterious show coming to Hulu sometime this year.
