Dune’s Jason Momoa And Dave Bautista Reuniting, Have Fun Exchange While Sharing First Trailer For See Season 2
With the summer season comes warm weather and fun outings, but it also includes plenty of new and returning TV shows. Apple TV+’s See, which stars Jason Momoa in the lead role, is finally set to make its return towards the end of the summer. The first trailer recently arrived, and it goes without saying that there’s plenty for fans to look forward to. An aspect of Season 2 that’s most exciting is the introduction of Edo Voss, who will be played by Guardians of the Galaxy alum Dave Bautista. Bautista and Momoa (who both recently worked on Dune) seem excited to be on the show together, and this was especially clear when they reunited to hype up the new trailer.
Jason Momoa took to his Instagram account to show off the See Season 2 trailer, which shows off plenty of action, as Momoa’s Baba Voss seeks to rescue his daughter, Haniwa. Of course, he’ll have to save her from the clutches of his brother, Dave Bautista’s Edo. The trailer teases a tense reunion between the two, and it looks like things could ultimately lead to a deadly face-off. In his post, Momoa showed excitement for the new season and thanked the cast and crew for their efforts. He also shared some kind thoughts about Dave Bautista:
Having been tagged in the message, Dave Bautista replied by expressing his enthusiasm about joining the show. He also returned some of Jason Momoa’s kind thoughts:
Dave Bautista’s Edo Voss was only mentioned in the Season 1 finale of See, but the mere mention of him was an ominous enough tease to get fans excited for the battle to come. Watching Bautista and Jason Momoa go head to head will almost be like a clash of the titans, as they’re two of the most imposing actors in Hollywood. So fans should definitely expect a fight for the ages.
Aside from their praise for one another, it’s also great that Jason Momoa highlighted the efforts of the rest of the cast and crew. Filming in the midst of COVID-19 hasn’t been easy for many shows but, as with the cast of See, they’ve powered through. Now, all Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista and their collaborators will have to do is sit back and enjoy the new season along with the rest of us.
See returns to Apple TV+ for its second season on August 27.
