Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been on television for around 14 years, which has meant Kendall and Kylie Jenner have been involved in the series for a good portion of their lives. As such, America got a good view of the two growing up over the years, though some things haven't happened on camera. For example, why haven't fans seen more of Kendall Jenner's love life?
The answer to that question recently came via an interview with Farnaz Farjam, an executive producer for Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Farjam spoke to The Daily Dish about some of the ground rules of the show and that Kendall Jenner had a very specific request for producers when it came to covering her love life:
Kendall's always had this rule, which she felt like she had to be with someone for at least a year before she lets them be a part of the show and in the show. Because she doesn't always know what people's intentions are. So that's why we kind of kept her personal life out of it, just because she had a rule.
It's a totally sensible rule for Kendall Jenner to have, especially given how much the Kardashian and Jenner relationship drama has dominated tabloids over the years. At best, she saved herself some heartache by keeping some relationships off-camera so that fewer fans would be curious about what happened if the two broke up.
The upside for Kendall Jenner is a potential downside for Keeping Up With The Kardashian fans, especially if they're also interested in the NBA. Over the years ,Jenner has reportedly dated basketball stars like Blake Griffin, Ben Simmons, Kyle Kuzma, Jordan Clarkson, and Devin Booker. Sure, fans got their NBA star fix with Tristan Thompson at home more in the final season, but it's possible there could've been a point on the series where Keeping Up With The Kardashians had more star power than the average, middling NBA team.
Kendall Jenner is not the only member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan who kept ground rules about her relationships, either. Kim Kardashian was noted to have requested not to talk about her relationship with Kanye West in the final season and only revealed a small bit of their behind-closed-doors drama, as talk of divorce loomed closer. Apparently, there's some more talk on whose relationships could and couldn't be talked about during the upcoming tell-all for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which will be hosted by Andy Cohen.
Those hoping to catch the Keeping Up With The Kardashians tell-all just need to tune in to E! on Thursday, June 17, at 8:00 p.m. ET and probably bring some popcorn. Andy Cohen usually does a great job at pulling the truth from the Real Housewives stars, so it'll be interesting to see what he can do with one of America's most famous families.
