Khloe Kardashian first started dating Cleveland Cavaliers (now Boston Celtics) basketball player Tristan Thompson in 2016 and became pregnant only a year later with their daughter, True. But as has been the case with many of the Kardashian-Jenners, their relationship has had very public ups and downs. Thompson has been accused of cheating multiple times, and the most recent rumors, which surfaced earlier this month, appeared to have prompted yet another breakup. Supposedly, Kardashian's family has some thoughts on what is being alleged as the final end to their relationship.
When they weren’t potentially spotting UFOs together, the couple was seemingly making strides in their relationship in this past season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Yet the Kardashian-Jenner family have intentionally avoided publicly addressing Khloe Kardashian's breakup with Tristan Thompson for very specific public relations reason. A source for ETOnline claimed:
The family was trying to keep the breakup quiet because of all the press surrounding the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion, but they all think this breakup is good and healthy for Khloe and are supportive of her.
Any tight-knit family is bound by loyalty to keep private matters private. For the Kardashian-Jenners, it's a little harder to accomplish because their personal lives are highly speculated on. But it appears the infamous reality TV family are forming ranks around Khloe Kardashian amidst her breakup. It’s their standard routine now, which Khloe has similarly done for them in the past. Outside of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloe hasn’t publicly talked about Kim Kardashian's divorce to Kanye West or Kourtney Kardashian's relationship with Travis Barker.
However, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's breakup was kind of surprising in the face of what she said about the relationship as recently as the Keeping Up with the Kardashian reunion. She revealed that she now trusted him, despite all of their previous issues, and that they were exploring options for a surrogate for another child together. But that was all before reports surfaced from The Daily Mail that Thompson was allegedly caught on camera going into a private room with three girls. He was also accused of cheating with model Sydney Chase in April, which forced him to take legal action. ETOnline’s source went on to say:
The constant cheating rumors were hard for Khloe to hear and dealing with her surrogate falling through was also very difficult. Khloe felt like everything was falling on her and she just couldn't take it anymore. … Khloe and Tristan had a clean break and it was not dramatic. They are just going back to co-parenting together without a romantic relationship.
But it isn’t clear as of yet if Khloe Kardashian will still follow through with having another child with Tristan Thompson via surrogacy at some point. Keeping Up with the Kardashians revealed that, before they were even officially back together, Kardashian had floated the idea of having another kid with Thompson, just so their daughter True’s sibling would be fully related to her.
Nevertheless, it seems as though none of the Kardashian-Jenners can catch a break when it comes to their boyfriends, husbands, and fathers of their children. Allegedly, though, it might make for good content for their new show coming to Hulu.
