As one of the most buzzed-about TV comedies in recent years, thanks in part to its massive streaming popularity, FXX's Dave is a show that is often as unfiltered as it is passing-out-from-laughing hilarious. That joyous balance was on full display with the Season 2 installment "The Observer," which opened on the titular Dave "Lil Dicky" Burd and co-star Benny Blanco taking bromances to the next logical level, which obviously includes tons of nude frolicking and cutting bubblegum out of another person's ass-hair. Meanwhile, the previous week's episode, "Antsy," featured Blanco name-checking a certain sex toy, and wouldn't you know it, it led to him receiving one in the mail.
Sex toys in the mail may sound like a terrible garage band, but it's just another day in the life for Dave regular and real-world music producer Benny Blanco. I can't imagine that he could have ever expected his dialogue about the oral sex-simulating device the Autoblow to inspire the device's actual inventor to send him one. But that's exactly what happened, as revealed by Blanco in the hilarious TikTok video below. Check it out!

When it comes to product placement, it seems like Dave is ahead of the pack, since the show didn't even need to show the Autoblow for at least one of its stars to get an NSFW kickback. Obviously that wasn't the point of the joke in the show, since Blanco presumably has enough money to afford hundreds of Autoblow devices, which would probably make for quite the nightmarish wall decoration. Although if there was a way to get the mouths to sync up with a popular song for a TikTok video....wait, no that would be even more nightmarish. Burn it all down!
Ahem. In the second episode of Season 2, Lil Dicky visited Benny Blanco's stellar house for a mini pool party with Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Kendall Jenner, model and headline-maker Hailey Bieber and Elsie Hewitt, complete with a convo about the rapper's lacking sex life. (Quite different from Jenner's avoidance of the topic on KUWTK.) Blanco interrupted and called Lil Dicky out for using the Autoblow at his house, though his description might not be how one would describe it to their grandmother. (Which could happen, probably.) Dave then claimed to have "borderline reinvented masturbation" while using it, which is amusing enough within the context of the scene, but it's also kind of the best advertisement possible, even if it isn't a "real" testimony.
Considering the high-profile guest stars involved, that scene and episode probably made their treks around the Internet in the past two weeks. And though it's not entirely clear whether Autoblow inventor Brian Sloan is a diehard Dave fan who watched the episode live, or if someone sent it to him because of the subject matter, he clearly got a kick out of it and put the call in to set Benny Blanco up with a real sex toy of his very own. Only time will tell if the Autoblow will be the newest cast member in Dave Season 3.
