After Kourtney Kardashian Drops An Unedited Backside Pic, Fans Are Sharing Their Thoughts
The Kardashian-Jenners are known to have a controversy or two, or three. It seems just part and parcel of their very public lives after 20 seasons on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. But what they suffer in scandal, they often make up for in very distracting thirst traps on social media. Currently, fans are reacting with some extra thirsty thoughts following Kourtney Kardashian's recent unedited booty pic post.
On the official Poosh Instagram account, Kourtney Kardashian's wellness brand, the reality star posted a saucy and seemingly unfiltered picture of herself walking down a path. Kardashian was wearing a red-white-and-blue bikini, heels and bucket hat ensemble. The clearly 4th of July-inspired get-up isn't what got fans talking, though. It was that her backside showed off a little cellulite. See the all-natural pic below:
Usually, most of the Kardashian-Jenners signature bikini pics generate rather polarizing responses. Either it's laying it on too thick ,or it's empowering. In the case of Kourtney Kardashian’s cellulite pic, fans have enthusiastically been leaning toward it being empowering – because women are often taught to hide these “imperfections.”
Most deemed Kourtney Kardashian the “unedited queen” or noted that cellulite “looks good on her.” One fan commented on the pic, “Way to empower the natural women body!! Love this.” Another wrote, “I love that the little dimples were kept! Its so natural and so beautiful.”
Kourtney Kardashian is widely regarded by fans for her realness and authenticity. Over the course of 14 years on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she never shied away from calling out her sisters and making it very plain that she hated filming the show, especially toward the end. She even gets a kick out of trolling the Internet every so often. Kardashian's recent unfiltered booty snap only seemed to confirm her realness to fans. One fan said:
For some, it might seem unnecessary to applaud Kourtney Kardashian for an unedited cellulite photo for the Gram. (Ordinary people do it all the time.) But the move is not exactly commonplace for the Kardashian-Jenners, who have been accused of setting an unrealistic beauty standard by heavily editing and filtering their content. A few months ago, Khloe Kardashian got in a lot of hot water over a highly circulated unedited pic that she attempted to scrub, so much so that she ultimately had to respond. On Kourtney's pic, fans commented, “ok finally an unedited Kardashian” and “we need more of this from celebs.”
The eldest Kardashian daughter might be revealing more dimples and wrinkles than the others, but the unedited pic is still adhering to the Kardashian method. That is, using their bodies as a way to sell product. In the case of Kourtney Kardashian, her post comes as a way to sell Poosh and how to get an “instant butt lift” or “a rounder rear.” Fans don't seem to mind the obvious content push too much, though.
