Real Housewives Of Potomac's Wendy Osefo Claps Back At Gizelle Bryant For Bringing Up Those 'Eddie Rumors'
It's that time of year again, folks! That's right, a new season of The Real Housewives of Potomac is forthcoming. The spinoff has gained notoriety amongst fans, more than even some of the OG shows of the franchise, because when the women of Potomac say those are fighting words, they really mean it. In this new season, the big drama is centered around certain “Eddie rumors” being brought up by Gizelle Bryant about Wendy Osefo’s husband. See the above mention about fighting words, though, because Osefo is clapping back at Bryant for the shocking allegations.
Now first, you might be asking yourself, “What are these ‘Eddie rumors’?” The Real Housewives of Potomac is supposed to get into it with more gusto, but the gist of it is that Wendy Osefo’s husband Eddie supposedly fathered a child with one of his coworkers at his law firm. Allegedly, other castmates and their husbands knew about it even last year amidst Osefo’s first season on the show.
The teaser trailer for Season 6 of Real Housewives of Potomac shows none other than Gizelle Bryant bringing up the Eddie rumors at dinner. Wendy Osefo revealed to ET Online that she thinks Bryant’s pot-stirring was “premeditated.” She continued:
Gizelle Bryant is perhaps the most infamous of the Real Housewives of Potomac castmates for having no shame in bringing up and talking about her castmates’ relationships. She questioned Ashley Darby about her husband Michael’s butt-grabbing scandal and his alleged attraction to men. At the reunion last year, Bryant was also accused by Monique Samuels and husband of helping to spread rumors that their youngest child was fathered by someone else. Basically, she's been involved in a lot of drama, just not anything having to do with her “green-eyed bandit” sidekick Robyn Dixon.
Real Housewives of Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant isn't fighting with only Wendy Osefo, either. Bryant has a longstanding shaky relationship with co-star Karen Huger. Ahead of the new season, Huger shared that they still not on the best terms. But she seemed to agree with Osefo’s assessment that Bryant creates drama for the sake of the show.
The Eddie rumors definitely appear to cause a lot of friction in Season 6 for the Real Housewives of Potomac. Wendy Osefo is even heard saying to someone that she was going to “light yo ass up.” From the looks of it, fans might be seeing a second physical fight within the span of only two seasons, which is unheard of for the franchise.
Monique Samuels didn't return to the Real Housewives of Potomac after her fight with Candiace Dillard Bassett and, as of right now, it's uncertain if history will repeat itself with Wendy Osefo. Tune in tonight for Season 6's first episode on Bravo at 8 p.m. ET.
