More Evidence Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Are Putting In The Effort For The Kids
The issues between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly first started last year amidst filming for the final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The two were said to be arguing over West's controversial social media posts and no longer being on the same page. Since their divorce announcement back in February, Kardashian and West allegedly even started leading more independent lives than they already were while married. That's changed somewhat of late, though, with evidence trickling out that Kardashian and West are showing a united front and putting in the effort for their four kids’ happiness.
People reported that Kim Kardashian showed up to support the release of Kanye West's latest studio album, Donda, on July 22 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The reality star was also accompanied by the pair’s four kids, as well as sister Khloe Kardashian. Apparently, Kardashian and West were even color-coordinated with matching red jumpsuits – which will surely get the fans going again after speculation of the “old Kim” style resurfacing.
This would be the second event in the span of a week that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been seen publicly with their kids, all under the age 8, since the divorce. A few days ago, Kardashian, West, and all their kids reportedly had a breakfast and museum outing altogether. Clearly, life and divided families can find a way to make things work in the end.
Yet this picture of a strong family effort has starkly contrasted with the past few months. Following the very public demise of their relationship, Kanye West has been noticeably absent from holidays and vacations with the Kardashian-Jenners. Moreover, the two were thought to not even be communicating directly with one another to co-parent their kids.
The situation seemed dire after Kanye West was allegedly dating a new woman only a few months after splitting with Kim Kardashian. West was also believed to have unfriended all the Kardashians from his Twitter account. So the fact that Kim, the kids and even Khloe Kardashian were all in attendance to celebrate West’s long-awaited album speaks volumes to the positive change of dynamic for the family.
Kim Kardashian has been thought to be supporting Kanye West in more subtle ways in the past, though. She posted wearing some Yeezy slides on social media not long after the divorce and was very protective of their marriage in the Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ last season. In it, she mostly refused to say anything negative about West and their issues. At the reunion, Kardashian even chalked it up to a mere “difference of opinions” that led to their divorce.
Divorce is certainly a complicated and, at times, tense affair. But Kim Kardashian and Kanye West seem to be moving into their new normal by putting their kids first – as Kris Jenner so wisely advised not long ago.
