The Voice Fans Can't Get Enough Of Newcomer Ariana Grande In First Look At Season 21
Viewers know that the hit singing competition The Voice has seen a lot of super famous coaches come and go from the show over its many years on the air. Every time there's a change, audiences get excited to see what the new celebrity coach will bring to the tuneful, banter-filled atmosphere on The Voice set, and now that they've seen their first look at newcomer Ariana Grande for Season 21, fans can't get enough!
Pop superstar Ariana Grande is taking over the red chair from Nick Jonas, who returned to The Voice in Season 20. Pretty much everyone who pays attention to music knows about Grande's powerhouse vocals, and while everyone was already excited for her to join returning coaches like big winner Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend, and host / wedding officiant Carson Daly, that excitement has now been turned up to 11 with the first promo for Season 20. Take a look at the spot, which Grande shared on her Instagram!
Pretty spectacular, huh? As you can imagine, fans swarmed her post to leave adoring comments that discuss pretty much every aspect of this new commercial for The Voice Season 20. And, while I'm plenty surprised that no one seems to have mentioned the kitty cat heads being cleverly used to conveniently cover Ariana Grande's bust (my favorite part of the entire video), people had plenty of enthusiastic things to say about the recently wed Grande, the promo, and the new season overall:
The above comments, and many thousands of others, were accompanied by a lively set of emojis, with plenty of heart eyes, flames, stars, crying, hearts of assorted colors, and applause used to punctuate their thoughts. Even Tony-winning Broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur piped in with a "I'm beyond excited!!!" to show how ready she was for The Voice to return and bring everyone's favorite ponytail-wearing songstress with it.
So far, Ariana Grande has only made one appearance on The Voice, and it was back in 2016 when she performed her hit single "Into You" which eventually went quadruple platinum. With all of the success that Grande has had, and with her millions upon millions of fans around the world, you can bet that people came also out on Twitter to show how thrilled they were to get a glimpse of her on The Voice:
And, one fan decided to reply to the appearance of The Voice clip on Twitter by reposting something Grande herself said a few years ago, and adding to her comment, noting:
I mean, I don't think you can get more excited by a promotional spot for a TV show than having it blow your wig away, right? I sure hope it wasn't a really good wig. Those can cost major money; it would be a shame for it to just end up turning into a tumbleweed...
