Jennifer Aniston And Courteney Cox Wish Friends Co-Star Lisa Kudrow A Happy Birthday In Sweet Posts
Lisa Kudrow, the icon who brought Phoebe Buffay to life on screen, has a special place in many Friends fans' hearts and, apparently, she is still loved by her old colleagues as well. Kudrow turned 58 this past week, and her friends (and Friends co stars), Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox, gave her very warm birthday wishes through loving social media posts.
With Friends: The Reunion still fresh in mind, Courtney Cox, known affectionately to fans as Monica Geller-Bing, wrote a beautiful birthday tribute to her longtime friend and co-star that contained a cute Friends throwback. You can check out the post below, which is a selfie of the two leading ladies on the set of the recent Friends reunion special:
The two stars look great together nearly 20 years post Friends, and diehard fans of the series get a nice shot of the kitchen set they came to know and love over the course of those countless episodes. The shot even includes the iconic purple door with the framed peep hole, both of which look as if they are stuck in time. Courtney Cox is all praises in her caption, sending Lisa Kudrow her love and even throwing in that little Friends throwback about Phoebe Buffay’s famous song, “Smelly Cat”.
Jennifer Aniston, who played the role of Friends' Rachel Green for all 10 seasons, gave Lisa Kudrow some equally warm sentiments on her birthday. Aniston took to her Instagram story to share a couple photos of herself and the birthday girl, one in present day and one at the very beginning of their friendship and long career together on the show.
The first photo Jennifer Aniston shared was from an outing that herself, Courtney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow were all together for. The picture only shows Aniston and Kudrow and has a happy birthday message for her friend with the odd nickname choice of “floosh” attached. Check it out for yourself:
I don't know what's better: the recent photo or the sweet throwback pic of the two on set of Friends in the very apartment Courtney Cox’s photo is taken in. Jennifer Aniston sends more love to Lisa Kudrow and states that she’s been making her laugh since day 1, which could even be when the photo was taken. Here’s the throwback photo with Kudrow and Aniston trying to hold in laughs:
The friendship between these three is still amazing after all this time, and fans are absolutely loving that the ladies still have so much love for one another. If the sweet birthday exchanges are getting you feeling a little nostalgic and you haven’t watched Friends: The Reunion yet, you can stream it on HBO Max and watch Lisa Kudrow, Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and the rest of the Friends all together again for the first time in nearly two decades.
