Jared Padalecki's Walker reboot has been a wild ride in Season 1, and as the season draws to a close, many may be curious about when Season 2 will arrive. After all, a sophomore season is rarely a sure thing for any show, though fans shouldn't be concerned about that in this case because Walker will indeed return for Season 2.
As far as when audiences will be able to see the new season, there's some additionally exciting news. Fans jonesing for new adventures with Cordell Walker and the gang won't have to wait too terribly long, as Season 2 is set to premiere Thursday, October 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET. That's just a little over two and a half months away, which is still a little bit of a wait, but not nearly as long as other fans have had to wait for shows. Other shows have had their seasons pushed back much longer due to COVID and other delays, so this is small potatoes in comparison.
Walker fans should have no problem waiting, considering they already waited a number of weeks between episodes for the Season 1 finale. Furthermore, they had to endure that wait after seeing that Walker discovered that family friend Stan played a part in his wife Emily's murder and that Walker turned the tables on his would-be captor and had a gun on him. What will he do in this unexpected position of power?
It was a great bit of drama, and part of the reason Walker fans may be so excited for what's in store for Season 2. Walker will have the opportunity for vengeance on Stan and anyone else who could be responsible for the death of Emily, but will he compromise the law to serve true vengeance to those responsible? Given the tone of the original series, we may be able to guess the answer, but perhaps Jared Padalecki and the Walker team have something else in mind?
Whatever direction the show goes, The CW is committed to making sure fans get more episodes of Walker. To be completely candid, The CW must've felt that way about a lot of shows as the network renewed Walker alongside 11 of its other original series. The same week that Walker premieres, The CW will bring back All-American for Season 4, as well as premiere a reboot of The 4400 called 4400. It sounds like it'll be a good time to hunker down and watch The CW!
