Loki was a wild show that introduced viewers to a brand new corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It dove head first into the multiverse and gave us a sense of what could happen when things are thrown into disarray. Of course, the MCU does have the Time Variance Authority, which seeks to maintain order within the “Sacred Timeline.” But things went south by the Season 1 finale and, with Spider-Man: No Way Home on the horizon, they’re only going to get worse on that front. Now, it would seem that the teaser trailer for Peter Parker’s latest solo film has received a response from one of the TVA’s shadest employees: Miss Minutes.
As her timekeeping organization descended into chaos, Miss Minutes seemed to be relatively unscathed, as far as we know. Yet her recent social media posts (yes, she has a Twitter account) indicate that she’s still at the ready and has even seen the multiverse-altering shenanigans set to happen in Spider-Man: No Way Home. She reacted to the trailer through a series of tweets, with the first one asking a very straightforward question:
If you’ve seen the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home, then you’ll know that Peter Parker and Dr. Strange are the ones who tamper with the timeline. The superpowered (but reckless) pair do so after Strange attempts to erase the public’s memory of Peter’s secret identity. The end result is a New York that looks like an M.C. Escher painting rather than an urban landscape.
Miss Minutes did not seem pleased with what she saw in the trailer, to say the least. And she followed up her initial response by discussing her next course of action:
At the very least, Miss Minutes won’t be the one handling that paperwork because let’s be honest, she probably can’t even touch it. Nevertheless, the seemingly sentient TVA mascot seems hellbent on keeping an eye on the situation:
Loki was filled with people who had their shades of grey, but Miss Minutes (voiced by the amazing Tara Strong) actually emerged as one of the most morally ambiguous characters on the show. First introduced as a helpful AI at the TVA, she eventually exudes a somewhat sinister nature. This was especially clear when she appeared to Loki and Sylvie as they prepared to meet He Who Remains.

It seems to be a given that Miss Minutes will return in Loki Season 2, but could we actually see her before that? Spider-Man: No Way Home may be a stretch but, with Tom Hiddleston rumored to show up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, there could be a place for her there. But while we speculate on her next appearance, you can stream Loki Season 1 on Disney+, which you can sign up for using this link.
