ABC 2012 Midseason Premiere: Apartment 23
While I’m excited that Apartment 23 was picked up by ABC, as a huge fan of Krysten Ritter, I’m sad that we have to wait until Midseason to see it. The comedy series stars Dreama Walker as a Midwestern girl who moves to the big city and ends up rooming with the seemingly sweet (but actually deceitful) Chloe (Ritter).
Ritter played roles in Breaking Bad, Gilmore Girls and Starz’ Gravity, however in Apartment 23 (previously titled Don’t Trust The Bitch In Apartment 23) she seems to most resemble a cattier version of Gia in Veronica Mars. In the series, we learn early on that, with the support of her pal James Van Der Beek (playing himself), Chloe’s made a habit of swindling city newbies out of their money by inviting them to live with her, taking the rent and deposit money and then driving them crazy so they’ll leave. You’ll get good look at Chloe’s duplicity in the clips below.
Below is ABC’s synopsis for the series and further down are a few clips from the premiere episode:
Apartment 23 will air on ABC during Midseason 2012.
