ABC's 2012 Summer Schedule Includes Duets And Fred Willard Hosted Improv Comedy Show

As the winter season begins to wrap up on television, ABC is gearing up for summer with a number of unscripted programs, and the lone drama, Rookie Blue, which returns for its third season. Among the shows set to make their debut this summer is the singing competition Duets, which will have stars like Kelly Clarkson and Lionel Richie teaming up with aspiring singers.

Duets is listed first on ABC’s schedule below, but before that premieres, ABC will bring The Bachelorette back on Monday, May 14 (9:30 p.m.), as former Bachelor contestant Emily Maynard looking for love among a crop of eligible men. Speaking of The Bachelor/Bachelorette, former contestants from the series will appear on Bachelor Pad when the series returns for its second season in July. Other returning unscripted series are Wipeout and Secret Millionaire.

New series Final Witness will explore some of the nations most shocking murders. Meanwhile, on the funnier side of things, ABC has an improv comedy show by the creators of Whose Line is it Anyway? and Mock the Week, called Trust Us With Your Life, which is hosted by Fred Willard. The promising sounding series will feature celebrities like David Hasselhoff, Ricky Gervais, Jerry Springer, Florence Henderson, Jack & Kelly Osbourne, Jane Seymour, Serena Williams and Mark Cuban.
