Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Episode 6, FZZT Preview: They Become The Prey
It’s a shame we have to wait two weeks for the next episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., as next week’s episode looks like it’s full of terror, and would probably make for a pretty great Halloween episode. Alas, “FZZT” doesn’t air until November, while the pilot episode will re-broadcast next Tuesday night. With November on the horizon, this scheduling arrangement may have something to do with sweeps.
Here’s the episode description for “F.Z.Z.T.”:
This one sounds like an exciting episode, and the implication that no one is safe certainly raises the stakes. Though that’s probably applicable to other baddies and plane-related catastrophes in this series, the fact that the description points it out and the trailer includes the words "They become the prey," it seems like Coulson's group may be directly targeted by this particular villain.
I wasn’t shy in sharing my lack of appreciation for Skye’s story in last night’s episode, and after sleeping on it, my opinions still stand. I’m not a fan of the Rising Tide plot. But if there’s one good thing about that arc in last night’s “The Girl in the Flower Dress,” it’s that it seems like the secret-spy stuff may have been put to rest, at least for now. And I’m hoping we’ll see a more united group going forward, which is a good thing. I’m also hopeful that with Skye’s secret out, the series can focus a bit more on letting us get to know some of the other characters on a more individual basis. I’d like to know just about anything about Fitz, Simmons and Ward that isn’t entirely related to their jobs. Of course, I may be getting impatient here. We’re only on Episode 6, after all. And good character development takes time. So I’ll wait and trust that we’re going to get to know these characters better in time.
There are quite a few photos of Fitz and Simmons for “F.Z.Z.T.” Check them out in the gallery below!
