No New Agents Of SHIELD Tonight, But Here's The 'T.R.A.C.K.S.' Episode Synopsis
If you were paying attention to the preview that aired after last week's episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., then you know that there's no new S.H.I.E.L.D. tonight. In fact, we won't be seeing a new episode of the ABC superhero drama until early next month. While we wait for the next S.H.I.E.L.D. adventure, ABC has released an official episode description for "T.R.A.C.K.S.," which is written by Lauren LeFranc and Rafe Judkins and is set to air February 4. Check it out below:
So it seems the Clairvoyant is being brought back to the center again after last week's episode, which shelved the Centipede plot for the most part to focus on an investigation at one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. training academies. The next new episode will not only put the S.H.I.E.L.D. team undercover, but it is also the episode that will feature a special cameo by Stan Lee. We got a glimpse of Lee in the previously released preview for "T.R.A.C.K.S."
So, what is T.R.A.C.K.S.? I mean, besides another annoying-to-type acronym. We could go the literal approach and say that it's a nod to the train tracks featured in the episode, but then why the excessive punctuation? It has to stand for something. Any guesses?
ABC has yet to share any official episode stills from "T.R.A.C.K.S." but we'll be sure to keep an eye out. In the meantime, here's a recent video the network shared taking a closer look at "The Magical Place"… with music:
And you can read our breakdown of last week's "Seeds" here. And in terms of what's coming up down the line, there's a Bill Paxton guest spot coming up. Read about that here.
