Last night’s episode of American Idol finished up the eliminations (more ore less), with the Top 24 contestant list solidified. Check out the full list here and, in case you didn’t tune in last night, find out about the “big twist” going into next week’s semi-finals.
While the eleventh season of the singing competition series has its Top 24 singers locked in and ready to move forward to the next phase of the competition, there are four guys who are getting another chance after previously being eliminated. Jermaine Jones, Johnny Keyser, Richie Law and David Leathers will be back next Tuesday night (Feb 28 at 8:00 p.m.). One of them will join the other twelve guys in the competition, making the male side of the semi-finals a “Top 13.”
Then the Top 12 ladies will perform live on Wednesday night (Feb. 29 8:00 p.m. EST). And on Thursday (March 1 at 8:00 p.m. ET) we’ll see who America chose to be Season 11’s finalists. Fox’s announcement doesn’t specify exactly how many finalists there will be this season, so another twist or two could be in teh works
